& OUR BEGINNING
OUR MISSION
Warriors Inc. is a Christ-led community organization committed to H.O.P.E (Helping Other People Excel) by:

Developing Youth
-
Initiating Fatherhood involvement in families and the community
-
Coordinating and delivering faith based social and economic services, and
-
Promoting racial and denominational reconciliation through collaboration.
Warriors Inc. was founded by Attorney Richard Blair, Pastor Gary Frost of Rising Star Baptist Church, Kenneth Simon of New Bethel Baptist Church, Bob Stauffer of Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church and the late Reverend Jay Alford of Highway Tabernacle. The organization started in the South High School building, renaming it the Reconciliation Center. The center served as a place where people in the community could come and receive much needed services. In July of 2001 Warriors Inc. moved to the HOPE Building where they could reach out to more people.

THE WARRIORS KNIGHT
Nehemiah 4:14 14
After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people, "Don't be afraid of them. Remember the LORD, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes."
THE WARRIORS KNIGHT
The Knight originated from the following scripture from Ephesians.
Ephesians 6:10-17
"Finally, be strong in the LORD and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."
This passage in Ephesians is a true representation of Warriors Inc. The Scripture details the armor a Warrior Knight is equipped with to stand against and take the blows of any attack. Over the past 2 years we all have felt the attacks of this pandemic. During these very unprecedented times, as we continue to recover and press forward, the entire Warrior Inc. staff are firmly committed to doing our part to restore H.O.P.E. in a bright future for our community. Whether providing fathers the tools to become better parents or bring the community together in UNITY, Warriors Inc. pledges to do our part in helping our community recover and soar like an Eagle.
